My new kitten

I now have a kitten and his name is Skitter. I got him last Friday afternoon, and his mummy lives across the street from my house. She had four kittens.

He likes the food I give him and he drinks the milk I put in his bowl. He meows all the time because he does not know where he is, and misses his mummy. But my daddy keep calling his name and he is beginning to understand that he now lives with us. Daddy takes him into the garden so that he can do his toilet, though he still does some in the laundry room.

My dad put a small box out for Skitter with his food and he likes to take naps in the box. His favourite place right now is hiding under the furniture or inside a trailing bush on our verandah.

This is my first blog posting. My dad did the typing as I cannot read yet.

Rhian, I have two beautiful big cats that were once small kittens and I love them dearly. My favourite thing is to close my eyes and listen to them purr. When they purr I know they are content and happy. I hope you really enjoy the kitten and have fun playing with him.
