Dennis Jones is a Jamaican-born international economist, who has lived most of the time in the UK and USA, and latterly in Guinea, west Africa. He moved back to the Caribbean in 2007. Gave Instead Of Lent 13

March 4: Gave a huge sigh of relief for taking for granted the gifts of sight and hearing. When I read about YouTube adding automatic captions (see BBC report), I realised how we could not enjoy all the same pleasures.
