School Is Out For Summer

Sometimes, the writing genie is on vacation, but the reading and listening muses are still at work. Some gems just from a week, when lots passed the corners of my eyes.

....'Devised' Treaty...[aka 'revised']

...chagaramous
treaty [aka Treaty of Chaguaramas]

...may be a Guyanese past time...[supposedly 'pastime' or is this a Freudian slip?]

...reached out an olive leaf [aka branch; but it would be touching

...clarify how the PM of Barbados can interseed of behalf of Afro Guyanese without accusations of meddling in other country affairs.. [aka intercede, and I hope no thoughts of miscegenation]

...gall forced wind...[aka 'gale force', or in a cricket context, Gayle but when hyperbole is raging, who knows?]
